Gabriela von Seltmann is a cultural interdisciplinary artist and animator born in Poland. Her art, expressed through various mediums, primarily explores themes of memory, identity, and the impact of historical events. She has done several projects, including The Great Synagogue Restores Memory and The Future of the Past: A Family Research. Gabi von Seltmann’s projects have been produced in cooperation with major Polish institutions such as the Open Republic Society and Society Jewish Historical Institute, Polin Museum, Jewish Community of Warsaw, City of Warsaw, and Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung. Gabriela and Uwe also received support from the German Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen. In addition, Gabriela has produced documentaries and public service announcements advocating equality and tolerance in Polish society.
