Khushboo Shah is a storyteller who doubles as an eye surgeon during the daytime. Her prose and poetry have a sprinkling of dry humour and introspection. She believes stories can change the world, one reader at a time. She writes stories with unusual settings, blended genres, whimsical characters, dark humour and unexpected endings. She was a winner at Wordsmith Award by Beyond the Box in 2022 and 2024. She was the winner of Penmancy PitchFest season 2. Her debut novel, The Mildly Chaotic World of Chi Kenny, a dystopian satire on animal cruelty released worldwide in November 2024. She is a spoken word artist and has won the Silver Medal for her spoken word piece titled- Ek tha Unicorn, at the IFP Festival, Season 14, Mumbai. She lives in Vadodara, Gujarat, with her daughter, poems and puns for company.
